I started taking portraits of our children 25 years ago
with the help of a friend (Joe Stephenson) who was
a photographer in Southern California. I went on
learning from him as well as reading books and
magazines and burning up a lot of frames of film
learning and experimenting on my own.
I photographed my first wedding for a friend about
22 years ago, and unfortunately do not have any of
the photos from any of the weddings I have done
except in recent years (I had always just given the
prints and negs. to the friends as their wedding gifts)
and I never really planned on going into business for
myself.

We have recently invested in all new digital cameras capable of producing
images up to 10 million pixels, shot in the RAW format. The RAW format
gives an incredible amount of flexibility and control of your final portraits.
I will eventually be changing out any of the film shot photos with new
photos taken with the new equipment
